Gold mica tape
Gold mica tape has excellent fire resistance, acid and alkali resistance, resistance to corona and radiation, as well as good flexibility and tensile strength, suitable for high-speed winding. Fire resistance tests have shown that wires and cables wrapped with gold mica tape can withstand 90 minutes without breaking under conditions of 840℃ temperature and 1000V voltage.
Gold mica fiberglass fire-resistant tape is widely used in places related to fire safety in high-rise buildings, subways, large power plants, and important industrial and mining enterprises. For example, power supply and control lines for emergency facilities like fire-fighting equipment, emergency guide lights, etc., are made of fire-resistant cables using inexpensive materials like gold mica tape.
- Double-sided adhesive tape: Made of gold mica paper as a base material and glass fiber cloth as a double-sided reinforcement material, it is mainly used as a fire-resistant insulation layer between the core and the outer layer of a fire-resistant cable. It has good fire resistance and is recommended for general engineering.
- Single-sided adhesive tape: Made of gold mica paper as the base material and glass fiber cloth as a single-sided reinforcement material, it is mainly used as a fire-resistant insulation layer for fire-resistant cables. It has good fire resistance and is recommended for general engineering.
- Three-in-one mica tape: Made of gold mica paper as the base material and glass fiber cloth and carbon-free film as single-sided reinforcement materials, it is mainly used as a fire-resistant insulation layer for fire-resistant cables. It has good fire resistance and is recommended for general engineering.
- Double film adhesive tape: Made of gold mica paper as a base material and reinforced with plastic films on both sides, it is mainly used as an insulation layer for motors. It has poor fire resistance and is strictly forbidden to be used in fire-resistant cables.
- Single film adhesive tape: Made of gold mica paper as the base material and reinforced with plastic film on one side, it is mainly used as an insulation layer for motors. It has poor fire resistance and is strictly forbidden to be used in fire-resistant cables.
Synthetic mica tape
Synthetic mica is a type of synthetic mica with complete crystal structure and large size, which is synthesized by replacing hydroxyl groups with fluoride ions under normal pressure conditions. Synthetic mica tape is made of synthetic mica as the main material, and then glass fiber cloth is glued to one or both sides with an adhesive. In the manufacturing process, several structural layers are bonded together, then dried, rolled up, and cut into different specifications of tape.
In addition to the characteristics of natural mica tape, such as low expansion coefficient, high dielectric strength, high resistance, and uniform dielectric constant, the main characteristic of synthetic mica tape is that it has a high heat resistance level and can meet the highest fire resistance level (950-1000℃).
- Three-in-one mica tape: This product is made of glass fiber cloth on both sides and polyester film, with powdered mica paper in the middle.
- Double-sided synthetic mica tape: Made of synthetic mica paper as the base material and glass fiber cloth as a double-sided reinforcement material, glued together with an organic silicone resin adhesive, it is an ideal material for making fire-resistant wires and cables. It has the best fire resistance and is recommended for key engineering.
- Single-sided synthetic mica tape: Made of synthetic mica paper as the base material and glass fiber cloth as a single-sided reinforcement material, it is an ideal material for making fire-resistant wires and cables. It has good fire resistance and is recommended for key engineering.
